The problem we couldn't ignore

Walk into any pharmacy in India and you'll find shelves lined with enormous capsules, chalky powders, and bitter syrups — all claiming to improve your health. The science on most of them is solid. But nobody was taking them. And that's the problem.

A supplement you skip is a supplement that doesn't work. We knew Indians needed better nutrition — iron deficiency alone affects over 50% of Indian women — but the existing solutions were exactly the kind you forget, skip, or abandon after a week.

We asked: what if supplements were something you actually looked forward to? What if taking your daily vitamins was as enjoyable as eating a piece of fruit? What if we built for India specifically — for our dietary patterns, our deficiencies, our taste preferences?

That question became Sake of Health.

How we built it

We spent months studying the science — not just the marketing claims, but the actual clinical research on dosing, bioavailability, and ingredient combinations. We found what worked and what didn't. We discovered which forms of iron upset stomachs least (ferrous fumarate, not ferrous sulphate). We learned that curcumin without piperine is mostly wasted. We chose algal omega-3 over fish oil so our product could be 100% vegetarian without sacrificing any benefit.

Then we obsessed over flavour. Because you can have the most effective formula in the world, but if it tastes like medicine, people stop taking it. We worked with our manufacturing partners through dozens of formulation rounds until every gummy was genuinely delicious — something you'd pick up off the shelf even if it weren't a supplement.
